 The Alpha course is primarily for people who want to exlpore the christian faith, with a chance to look at the big questions of life in a relaxed, friendly and non-threatening environment.
Some of the topics covered are:
- Who is Jesus?
- Why did Jesus die?
- How can I be sure of my faith?
- Why and how should I read the Bible?
- Why and how should I pray?
- How does God guide us?
- How can I resist evil?
- Why and how should I tell others?
- Does God heal today?
- What about the church?
The evening begins with a chance to get to know the others on the course over a meal together, before listening to a short talk on the week's topic which leads to open discussion time.
We are currently holding an alpha course at Pizza Hut in Hatfield town centre. Each week at 7.30pm you can enjoy some free pizza and ask the big questions of life. For more info please call David Hayes on 07892 494965.
